背景

  • 根据 LON 白皮书中设计的经济模型，交易挖矿因子默认值为 1，即每回购 1 个 LON，就会有 1 个 LON 被铸出，铸出的 LON 将根据网络参与者的奖励比例来进行分配
  • 其中，Tokenlon 新用户的推荐者可以获得 15% 的 LON 奖励
  • 最近几期的交易挖矿，邀请奖励池被固定的少数地址瓜分，没起到应有的拉新激励作用，对此很多社区用户也有反馈

目的

  • 收集社区反馈，来决定交易挖矿中邀请奖励的激励分配方式

投票选项

  • 完全取消 15% 的邀请奖励，全部给到交易用户
  • 邀请奖励降为 5%，10% 给到交易用户
  • 重新设计专门的拉新奖励机制

注：

  1. 完全取消 15% 的邀请奖励，全部给到交易用户
    交易奖池将从原来的 35% 增加到 50%，加大对用户在 Tokenlon 交易的补贴，提高交易奖励。
  2. 保留邀请奖池，不过奖池规模降为 5%，剩余的 10% 可建立新的邀请机制，比如：可利用剩余的邀请激励去策划新的拉新活动，并配合邀请榜单等形式，吸引更多人来 Tokenlon 交易。如果你持有 LON，在你原有的邀请激励上还会有额外的奖励。

Adjusting reward allocation for trade mining [Referrer]

Background on the current issue

  • Based on the LON litepaper, for every 1 LON bought back, 1 LON will be minted. The LON minted will be distributed to the traders, market makers, relayers and referrers
  • More specifically, referrers earn 15% of the total trade mining reward pool.
  • Unfortunately, after genesis mining, we have not achieved the desired results from the referral program
  • Few people have successfully referred users to Tokenlon, which led to a situation of a small group of users receiving 15% of the trade mining pool.
  • This is unfair to the other groups who contributed proportionally more trading volume

Proposals

We have a few proposals we would like to share with you and get your feedback on

Proposal #1

Allocate all of the referrer reward pool to the traders. In this case, the traders will receive 50% of the trade mining reward pool, instead of the current share of 35%. This will further incentivize users to trade more and distribute rewards more equitably based on each party’s contribution

Proposal #2

Continue with referrer reward pool but make changes to the current scheme. Some examples of these changes can be as follows

  • Set aside 5% of trade mining reward pool for referrers, down from 15%.
  • Use the remaining 10% of the trade mining reward pool to run marketing and trading campaigns, whereby participants and winners will receive LON that comes from the referrer reward pool
    • LON holders will get preferential treatment for each of these campaigns. E.g. receive more rewards for a certain set of actions as compared to non-LON holders

Proposal #3

Continue with the current scheme, with a revamped referral scheme. Retain 15% rewards for referrers.
